Certification environnementale

All of our sawmills in southern Canada and the United States are chain-of-custody certified. This certification makes it possible to follow the logs from harvesting to the manufacturing process.

Our factories have been independently verified and found to meet the requirements of Chain of Custody certification for the following:

• Forest Certification Recognition Program –  PEFC Chain of Custody Certificate ; Interfor’s PEFC Chain of Custody Policy
• Sustainable Forestry Initiative ^MD (SFI) – SFI Chain of Custody Certification from Interfor ( BC ,  US South )

We also have an FSC-compliant wood sourcing policy in place  for our BC coastal forests to avoid trade in wood or wood fiber that does not meet our sustainable forest management standards. .
